Post-Election FB Diary. (1) Before the Explosion

Looking back at the two months after the election is like watching someone in a horror movie who isn’t quite sure that there is a killer on the loose. Here are some of my Facebook posts from that time. I’ve made small edits to some posts from original Facebook version.

9 November

I’ve been saying all along that I think Trump will leave office and complain on Twitter that the election was supposedly stolen… but firing of Defense Sec and some other factors making me a little bit more nervous.

What does it say about where the country is when two Republican Senate candidates have to be chided by the conservative National Review for unwarranted attacks against their own state’s elections? The GA candidates accused pro-Trump GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger without “even a single example of Raffensperger’s supposed deceit or incompetence”. Each new example of Republican retreat from reality brings the US one step closer to an abyss.

Trump & Co still trying to steal the election.

Step 1: “I know there was fraud because I lost.”

Step 2: “I have proof that there was fraud.”

Step 3: “Disproofs of my fraud claims shows that the election procedure was invalid. That’s the only possible reason we can’t prove that there was fraud.”
