Competitive Senate Races
The Senate is currently 53/45/2 Republicans/Democrats/Independents (the 2 Independents usually vote with the Democrats). Given how the country is sick, economically depressed, and wracked by protests under the guidance of the Republicans, Democrats have a good shot at attaining a Senate majority along with the presidency.
Here is a list of the 2020 senate races which political observers believe are the most competitive. Major party candidates are shown except for states with upcoming primaries. I’ve included a little information about each challenger. For each category, states are arranged roughly west-to-east.
