I don’t know what other claims Donald Trump and his allies will make about voter fraud over the next few weeks, but in the spirit of Slow News, I’m providing a quick reference sheet for why these should probably be ignored.
1) Trump started making evidence-free fraud accusations in 2016.

2) Trump created a panel to find election fraud. They disbanded without issuing a report. He had almost 4 years to find supposed fraud – and didn’t.

3) Trump claimed that Biden cheated in the election BEFORE he actually could say what the cheating consisted of. In other words, “He must have cheated because I lost”.

4) AFTER making these claims, he found people to make specific claims. These charges have been dismissed as without merit by multiple courts, including judges appointed by Trump and other Republicans and Republican election officials. In-depth look at one of many examples:
